You really are to be congratulated on such a beautifully appointed and comfortable cottage. We have both greatly enjoyed our stay and much appreciatednot only the warm and friendly welcome, but the trouble you took to ensure we wanted for nothing.

The local area of France is delightful and we look forward to returning next year-perhaps at a time when we shall be able to make greater use of your fine pool.

Thank you for two wonderful weeks. We were after a really quiet Gite/location where we could just chill out and unwind, and that’s exactly what we got. Plus the added bonus of exceptionally delightful hosts! You really thought of everything!

We really enjoyed our stay last week. It is virtually to add more comments to those that precede our “report”. All the positive comments apply to us too. When we booked this Gite we were worried about how nice it would actually be-you can never really tell from the Internet. But “spotless” comes to mind. Your efforts to try and think of “everything” have not been in vain. -Well done Glyn and Lorraine.

Becky actually did not need to clean on arrival-a rarity, as I said on day 2. The house was a delight and the pool-games brilliant. Thanks also for letting us use the bikes too.

Talking to both you guys (Glyn and Lorraine) was a pleasure-a good mix of constant help and support, without being overbearing-you got that just right, which cannot be easy. Your children are a credit to you as parents, with excellent natures. Thank you so much for giving us an excellent holiday. Love from Alan, Becky, Sam, Ellie and Jack.

Thank you for a lovely week. Bill and I felt soo chilled out by the end, that we didn’t really want to go onto our next gite. The pool and house were excellent with everything you needed included. Lots of places to visit nearby. Domfront, worth a walk round. Bagnoles de l’Orne with its lake. Road train and places to eat. We also visited La Fleche for its zoo (1 hour 45 minutes). It had every sort of animal, but a long way to go in one day. Both Glyn and Lorraine and Owain were great hosts who made all of us feel welcome.

Lovely Gite! You’re a smashing friendly family. Our children really enjoyed playing with Owain and your twins are delightful. We had some great days out and it was a “Home from Home” each evening watching “Emmerdale, Coronation Street, and Big Brother”!! Breakfast each morning looking out over the fields and amazing views. We’ve had a lovely holiday. The Gite is fantastic. Glyn and Lorraine have thought of everything. The welcome was lovely, very warm and friendly. It felt like a “Home from Home”, except for the weather, which hasn’t been anything like it is at home. It’s been wonderful. We’ve spent all our time by the lovely pool. The peace and quiet has been fantastic. I still don’t understand how you can keep three young children so quiet. The place is a credit to you both, and we will be recommending you to anybody thinking of coming to the area. Thanks again for a lovely week. Hope to see you again one day.

What a lovely place! Thank you so much for the friendly faces on arrival and the warm welcome, but also for leaving us to our own devices. It was a real break. The added touches of cot, high chair and baby bits were great. The weather was a little “English”, but we had lovely outings to Ambrieres, Domfront and Laval. The local Cider advice was much appreciated and taken on board with gusto. Many Thanks from the Hunts.
